If you have students with incompletes and need to extend their course access in Canvas, follow these steps:
- Log on to Canvas.
- Access the course to extend access time.
- Click on Settings in the course navigation.
- On the Course Details page, locate the Participation section.
- Find the End date and change it to the desired date.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update Course Details button.
NOTE: This only extends access to the course. If quizzes or other assignments have timed or date restrictions, adjust those for students as well.
