People wanting to learn how to weld, brush up on their welding skills, and create art from metal will have an opportunity to do that through °µÍø½âÃÜ this summer. LTC is offering a pair of community education classes for people to experience welding.
Welding 101 will be offered Tuesday evenings in June from 5:30-7 p.m. at the McCoy Welding Center. Jackson Hemrich will lead the class that offers an introduction to the basics of welding.
Decorative Welding takes place from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in June at the McCoy Welding Center. Jackson Hemrich will lead the class the helps people learn welding basics while creating a decorative piece.
Each class is a part of °µÍø½âÃÜ’s Community Education program which provides a variety of non-credit classes for the community. The cost of Welding 101 is $25 while the cost of Decorative Welding is $45. Students can register by calling 618-544-8657. The registration deadline for both classes is May 30.
